Hole 1

A good fade tee off shot allows you to avoid the out of bounds on the left and the bunkers at the top of the drive.

Choose your club well for the 2nd shot.

Par 4 327 319 297 294

Hole 2

One of the easiest holes on the course. But allow for the wind in order to attack the sloping green.

Par 3 166 156 146 132

Hole 3

Par 4 relatively short where drive accuracy (to the left of the tree on the right) is crucial for attacking the green. Do not be fooled by the way it looks and watch out for the triple bunker in front of the green.

Par 4 322 313 303 274

Hole 4

Magnificent par 5 with left dog-leg. Wood and water await the headstrong "drivers". Fairway slightly banked right, bordered by thick rough.

Par 5 467 446 402 402

Hole 5

Par 4 right dog-leg. Don't try to skim the wood too close on the right as you may not have the opening. The second shot should be played short for an uphill putt.

Par 4 369 340 283 283

Hole 6

Par 3 uphill, an extra club often comes in handy.

Par 3 137 130 116 101

Hole 7

Preferably a fade drive to avoid raking the bunkers! Green well defended by a series of bunkers front and left.

Par 5 439 432 386 354

Hole 8

One of the longest par 5s on the course. Drive slightly to the right on the "flat" to have a second shot with your feet level. Check where the flag stick is so you don't lose your way on this 50-metre green.

Par 5 520 490 464 453

Hole 9

Don't let the proximity of the clubhouse make you lose your cool!  Avoid the slice so you don't play your second shot at the start of hole 6, and the quick hook that will take your ball out of bounds onto the road.

Par 3 189 179 138 124

Hole 10

Place your drive on the left.  It's not just the ducks that splosh into the pond left of the green!

Par 4 325 307 287 270

Hole 11

From the back tee offs, cautious players will play an iron along the water. "What a lot of water"!

Par 4 298 290 209 182

Hole 12

Par 5. Decisive second shot to be played preferably on the right for a good attack of the green. The bunkers are not there just for decoration.

Par 5 498 469 454 426

Hole 13

Don't bother wondering whether the fence on the right can save you from being out of bounds!  Play a bit short for the second shot: there's a pool lurking behind.

Par 4 344 338 324 295

Hole 14

Par 3 difficult from the back tee offs : if you're not a very long hitter play it in par 4, especially with a headwind. This is where the trench warfare begins: from 14 to 18. Amen corner

Par 3 204 155 120 100

Hole 15

Caution advises teeing off towards the woods. Don't forget the balls!  For your second shot always play a club stronger than you think!

Par 4 366 309 288 279

Hole 16

Caution advises teeing off towards the woods. Allow for balls! For your second shot always play a stronger club than you think!  Stay as far right as possible for a better opening.

Par 5 546 536 498 458

Hole 17

"Never up never on": new saying

Par 3 192 176 132 100

Hole 18

Par 4 long and uphill: the most difficult one on the course. You need to take care over your approach on this very fast green.

Par 4 418 374 333 333
